Vijaya hosts the evening drive time (6pm to 10pm) on weekdays. She is very popular with listeners – listenership to her timebelt continues to be on the increase.

In addition to her role as DJ, Vijaya is also the station’s Music Director and host of the popular Top 10 Countdown show on Oli.

She has hosted many stage shows and has also appeared in popular TV programmes and acted in dramas on Vasantham .

She was nominated for “Best Actress” in Pradhana Vizha 2011 for acting in “Vyjayanthi”. She also won the most creative program award for her special program on AR Rahman winning at the Oscars
