Hossan Leong is one of Singapore’s most popular and successful television and theatre actors, working constantly and earning an impressive array of awards and reviews. Hossan made his directorial debut in Sydney in 2003, directing Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Flower Drum Song for AHA! Productions. He produced, directed and starred in Best Served Cold, a murder-mystery dinner theatre piece for the 2004 World
Gourmet Summit. In 2008, he directed Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. He conceived, produced and directed On This Island, a musical revue, for the APAO Congress 2006. He has since directed and produced many corporate musical revues for the LJ Hooker Conference, NS 40 (MINDEF) and the STMicroelectronics 20th Anniversary Dinner. Hossan is also a stand-up comedian. He performs regularly with the Dim Sum Dollies. He is a much sought-after host for dinners, launches and corporate events, having also performed in Chicago and New York. To date, he has performed in more than 50 plays and numerous television programmes.

Hossan is also a Motivational Speaker and Corporate Trainer. Corporate clients such as the National Heritage Board, the Ministry of Education, MINDEF and the Singapore Institute of Management have engaged his skills in Presentation/Drama techniques and he has also conducted National Education workshops for Nexus.

His fluency in the French language has led him to work with the Alliance Francaise on a Tribute to Edith Piaf. Hossan is also the Speak Mandarin Campaign Ambassador for 2005/2006.

Hossan is also an accomplished pianist and he performed to six sell-out shows in his one-man show, Seriously, Hossan!
