Driven by endless passion, Chong Qing (Dennis Chew) strives to keep his radio programmes brimming with excitement and creativity, keeping his listeners tuned in with anticipation. From Zhou Gong Jiang Gui” (Grandpa Zhou’s Ghost Stories) to “Mr. and Mrs. Chew”, Chong Qing (Dennis Chew) brings the listeners to new levels of enjoyment with the mere use of his voice. The overwhelming response of Zhou Gong Jiang Gui” (Grandpa Zhou’s Ghost Stories) prompts him on to produce a CD of Zhou Gong Jiang Gui” (Grandpa Zhou’s Ghost Stories), the 10 tracks are stories of his and listeners’ own personal paranormal encounters.

He revamped his programme, “Zhong Guo Feng,” besides recruiting a new co-host, the programme was extended from half an hour to an hour. The new content and the songs he selected made the programme popular with local and mainland Chinese listeners.

He was voted the No.1 DJ in Singapore in a poll conducted by Friday Weekly, a nation wide paper for students.

He was nominated for the Most Popular Male Artiste Award during the Star Awards for the fifth consecutive time, and was placed among the Top 20 finalists. He was the only male radio dj to be nominated for this award.

In year 2007, Dennis won most popular dj voted by media in Singapore Radio Awards.

Dennis was chosen to be a voice talent for the 1st local animation movie “Zodiac The Race Beings,” together with Singapore babe Fann Wong. The movie was very popular with the local audience, and achieved good ticket sales at the box office. The distribution rights for this movie was also acquired by International media giant, Disney.

Dennis acted in the movie “One Last Dance,” directed by Brazilian director Max Makowski and two songs from his album was also chosen to be in the movie soundtrack.

Dennis acted in the movie “Man In White,” directed by highly acclaimed local director Kelvin Tong, which was screened in July 2007.

Dennis hosted the tv variety programme “Stock Exchange,” together with Patricia Mok.

Dennis hosted the tv variety programme “Fact or Fiction,” together with Kym Ng, this was the 1st chinese variety show to be filmed in HD format.

In Dec 2007, Dennis performed a monologue play named “1st Intimate Contact” at Raffles Hotel Jubilee Hall. The four performances achieved 85% ticket sales.

Dennis hosted a TV variety show ‘Buzzing Cashier’ together with Kym Ng and Quan Yi Feng, the viewer-ship achieved the highest ratings on Channel 8.

In 2008, he hosted “Food Detective” on Channel 8 with Jeff Wang.

Dennis had endorsed in products such as Starhub and Borsch Med.

Dennis was also chosen to be the scriptwriter for a chinese movie “The Wedding Game” starring Fann Wong and Christopher Lee. The movie is a collaboration between Scorpio East and MediaCorp Raintree Pictures.

He was also involved in MediaCorp Channel 8 45th Anniversary show, where his cross-dressing as “Aiyoyo” became talk of the town and was widely covered by the media.

He has recently filmed an TV advertisement for Audiohouse.
