BRAISED DUCK RICE

A new week, a new dish and this time, it’s all about the braised duck rice! Where, in your opinion, is the best to be had? Share away…

The best duck rice i have eaten is at block 89 Zion Road. The duck meat is sooo tender and the sauce is smooth. I ill never go to other places to eat this dish . U both should join me sometime ya. – Gert de Gracias

Hamish & Denise both really enjoy the duck rice at Lim Seng Lee Duck Rice (38 South Buona Vista Road) – friendly service, a guy who greets you and remembers your order, scrumptious, tender duck, tasty-smooth sauce and power chilli. What’s not to love?

yes Denise, that’s where the boneless braised duck was supposed to be d’ most expensive place I had come across. The last price I paid was $40 for a takeaway duck!….something to quack over:-@.,V

yeah! South Buona Vista duck also gets my vote! No need for black rice cos by the time we douse the rice with the gravy its black anyway! Shiok chilli too!

All taxi drivers will tell you Geylang is a must for all kinds of food. Yes, also duck rice. Try the stall at Lor35. best in spore! – mrgoh

Duck rice from Kallang Bahru hawker centre da boss formerly from Cheok Kee at Macpherson is good. Da duck just melts in your mouth n comes with fragrant yam rice n 2 types me super shiok chilli. Standard is similar to da one at lagoon hawker centre but tis one is cheap selling at $2.50 per plate.

BUT THIS WEEK’S DUCK RICE KING IS Alvin Pereira FOR THIS RECOMMENDATION! Hi Hamish n Denise let me introduce u the best braise duck rice. It located at blk 118 commonwealth crescent coffee shop. It’s been that area since the estate was developed (1964) from the humble begining. The duck is well braise n tender, the braise sauce is not too salty, the rice is perfect in which they use the best quality. Lastly the vinegar chilli is well blend. So much of describing it must be tried. I give a 2 thumbs up. Lastly u must try the salted veg. That’s comes wid a suprise. Cheers!
