we finally checked out the beach area just opposite the hotel~~~ nice..

spent more time waiting for my made-to-order shoes… which was rejected previously by me…

cos the shoes were too tight…

finally~~~ on our way back to danang… the 4* resort in the mountains~~~

to get to the hotel… need to take 2 trips of cable car up!!!

n THAT”S OUR HOTEL~~~ like genting~~~ nice hor~~~

not long after we checked in… the rain came…

i felt like an idiot when i couldn’t turn on the tv… the pink list show ALL the channels that i could see

so… we wanted to call front desk n ask for help…

OOPS… there’s no dial tone!!!

[ the hotel staff claimed that it's due to the RAIN!!! so if it's raining at night, n sometimes happens? m i suppose to turn up at the front desk in my pajamas?]

the ONLY toiletries that the 4* hotel provided!! it’s a room for 2!!!

after a bit of hoo-ha, we decided we dont want to be ‘trapped/stranded’ here~~~

the view was rather nice n air cooling… BUT~~~

ok… BYE… cable car down within hours… totally diff feel just like the weather!

frankly… the scenery was rather amazing… with the rain… the clouds n all…

alas maybe just not fated la!!

luckily… there are vacancies in the hotel in town~~~

the view was great too… the irony… we could see the mountain all the time from the hotel room!!!

so… if u r visiting danang, stay in HAGL hotel~~~ *thumbs up*

but… i was totally unaware of this activity b4 departure… n hence i left my contact lenses n underwater camera at home~~~ but that’s not stopping me~~~ ;p

the arrangement so far has not been satisfactory…

but i reminded myself… this is not spore, cannot expect too much~~

first of all… to cham island n a short walk  around the small fishing village~~

after the hot scorching walk, it’s time for snorkelling… but not before going to this island so that people can change into their swimsuit for swimming. [compare this with the swimming at the beach situation on day2 n it really puzzled me greatly...]

then again the fishes are quite countable la~~

the widespread for lunch~~~ [which is slightly different from the food served for vietnamese, n that left us wondering if foreigners n locals pay the same price?]

after a short break with an iced coffee, it;s time to head to old town again~~~

it felt like hokkaido’s otaru canal, some european town~~

after walking around the old town for several hours under the HOT sun…

we decided to do it their way too… go back to air-con room n rest~~~

after a cold shower n a short nap ;p… it’s time to check out the area outside the hotel…

like i have mentioned? we are at a beach resort…

n the cua dai beach is a v popular place with the locals too…

imagine all the motorcycles x 3/4pax each~~~

it’s like a beach party or some carnival ongoing~~~

n most of the locals dun change into swimwear or beachwear…

they go into the water in whatever they come with… n ‘air-dry’

then walk home or walk to the parking lot to get home on their motobike~~~

hmmm i think it’s some kind of ’spring roll’… wrapped like the big otah in spore

the white part is like our chui kuey~~ the orangy part… i dunno hahaha

this is yummy~~~ the soup is a lil like tom yum, but not so spicy~~~

the seasonings… the viet must have – fish sauce, lime n chilli

it’s cao lau again~~~

the grilled pork noodles… [somehow the pork is usu more chewy than tender]

but still yummy la… the noodles usu come with loads of mixed veggies…

maybe that’s y they are all so slim~~~

well well well… it’s for me to find out!!!

first… it was supposed to be a 7am flight… then it was retimed to 10am…

well… at least there was notification via sms more than 12 hours before that…

but it affected our connecting flight to danang airport…

so… got a few hours to spare at HCM airport…

lunch!!!! is instant noodles with beef balls n 3 layered tea~~~

so… all in all… plus a lil delay at HCM airport… n lots of babies crying on board…

we arrived at danang at 5pm i think… *yawn*

[danang is in central vietnam... almost mid point between hanoi n HCM]

right outside the airport… haggle for a taxi to go to Hoi An…

first the taxi driver insisted that we pay according to the meter… but the price was standard n agreed outside the airport at US$15 or VND290,000. [meter is 300,000++]

of cos we refused… gave him VND290,000 n wanted to check in the hotel…

TAR-DAH~~~ the gals at the reception told us… ’sorry wrong hotel… your hotel is about 1km down the road’!!!! ||| so we hopped onto another taxi to get to our lovely hotel~~~

the pillowcase n lampshade reminds u of where u are…

in case u wake up in the middle of the night n forget where u r? ahaah

after a long day of JUST travelling… too tired to get out le…

even at the hotel restaurant… must eat local food… BEEF PHO~~~

n took various factors to be in place for ZG&WP to come onto the morning time slot… one to be on mc… one to be leading tour … n one important client…

waking up early was tough… n staying awake through the day was even harder…

not forgetting five stones, catching [ ya someone reminded got 'home' one]…

happy family, donkey and old maid… tho i dun really recall how to play until ZG say ‘u have to ask if so n so is at home one?’
