Christmas Markets
Most Viennese Christmas Markets (”Christkindlmarkt”, “Adventmarkt” or simply “Weihnachtsmarkt”) are not so much for shopping as for eating and drinking. From midday until the late hours of the night, people gather at Christmas markets to drink mulled wine, punch, and chat to one another and the occasional stranger. Entry to all of these markets is free.
- Maria-Theresien-Platz : A relatively new market between the two museums and en route to/from the MuseumsQuartier (MQ). It is easy to maneuver than some and the quality of the goods is better than most.

Mary, would like to know how much u spent on the cruise(cruise plus air-tickets, excluding personal shopping)? Took which air line? Would u really recommend going for cruise rather than on backpack to the countries?

hihi winnie… the cruise is almost all in… i think if i remember correctly it’s 3.5k before taxes… we took KLM to amsterdam then took a hungarian airline[forgot the name liao] to hungary… crusied to austria then coached to czech n flew back via KLM.
as for whether cruise or backpack… it really depends on you~~~
the 6d on the cruise is considered fine dining… n u have the luxury of sleeping on beds n cruising to the next destination at the same time.
back pack involves a lot of planning la… for me sometimes there is really no time to do detailed planning le ahahha
